7600x3d

It’s the fact it released not far off the cost of the 7800x3d. 7800x3d has rocketed in price recently though. Had a look today and saw the 7900x3d for cheaper than the 7800x3d… :\
People laugh at the price for the 7600x3d, and I would imagine the only way it’s being bought is if it can be scalped to folks elsewhere in the world.

I imagine it's supply Vs demand in China?

Can't find them available in the UK as of now. The 5600x3d was an exclusive iirc.
The 5600X3D is a very limited run as it’s just failed 5700X3D or 5800X3D.

Makes sense to take that limited run and just put it in one container and send it to the biggest market in the world where you can charge USD.

Hopefully AMD will launch a 7700X3D to join them, around £160 for one of those would be amazing value.

I would would have assumed any failed 7800X3D would automatically become 7600X3D? I never saw the point of 5700X3D vs 5800X3D, hardly much difference between them and assume that this time round it might never get launched.

The difference is the price, the 5700X3D is a fantastic cpu for the price, just bought one myself for £126. The 5800X3D however is a total rip off at near £300 by comparison.

Being ripped off at near £300 for a 5800X3D but the slightly slower £5700X3D at a fantastic £126?

That's the customers. There's so much choice for excellent performance the only gun at anyone's head forcing the sale on the AM4 gaming flagship is the customer's FOMO.
