Hello there,
I live in Great Britain and have just purchased a GeForce 7800 GS OC AGP 256MB GDDR3
Very impressed with it, Upgraded from an ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb,
Massive difference in performance,
I was playing a Demo of Fear to see the Cards Performance and all of a sudden it started to get a little
Jerky ... Checked everything in Windows and seemed fine, After all checks i reseated the Card to make sure
it was in properly and that it was powered ... Then i noticed the Fan was'nt going around,
I checked the Temp in the Nvidia settings and it was in the 90's C,
The Fan is'nt turning at all, I've had the Card in the machine less than a Week ... Bought it a Week ago,
To be honest i've waited a long Time to get this Card and don't want to have to return it because of a Fan,
So ... Is this a problem i could check and fix or is there a Cooler out there that i could place on it and not
have to worry about the Fan not working,
I have no idea if the Fan is faulty or a capacitor etc that drives the Fan is faulty, Just a little worried that if i Buy
a Arctic cooler to replace the Fan and heatsink that this also won't work because of something on the
Card itself rather than the Fan itself, Anyway of testing the Fan?,
Great Forum by the way and the Technical Helpline is excellent,
Thank's so much for reading this and hope you can help,
Take care,
John,
