Came with a molex and 4pin connector which obviously looks like a power connector or power lead. The thing is, it seems 2 be running ok from its pci-express slot without the connector. Should I simply disregard it and keep things as they are. I have previously used Ati cards and the connector leads are slightly different. Thank you :)

Plug it in. I've seen similar cases with 6 series cards and though they will function they will struggle if pushed too hard (like playing FEAR). Not only will it be more stable, but it will be faster too.

Beats me. I've only encountered it in forums (most gaming rather than hardware forums), but it seems like a common enough problem particularly for those who don't know much about computers.

As mentioned above I have plugged it in. Better to err on the side of caution. Funny thing was though, the manual said nothing about plugging it in. Perhaps that was because it was referring 2 the agp version which could have derived enough juice from the agp slot?
