7800gt or 1800

My mate just asked me:

As you (me) are having pc problems (oh i am) and have a 360 now (i got annoyed with my pc ) could i swap my x1800xt for your 7800gt.

Because for some reason his pc sucks ass at games. where as mine (with a gig of ram less and a worse cpu) performs better at nfs mw and other such alike.

I cant seem to find any straigh benchmarks, so I come here.

Good deal for him, or good deal for me ?

bet it down to the way his pc is configured, doubt there is anything wrong with the hardware at all.

if his card is better than yours you may as well swap it.
then he will try your card and either get same crappy performance or it may improve.
if performance is still crappy
im sure you can buy your card back from him for something like 50 quid and give him a basic card just for windows use.

i forgot to say its not just a 1800 its an x1800xt :x

I told him to come over so we can fix his pc Also want to try his new xfi with my speakers see if i want to buy one

Do it, the x1800 XT is faster than the 7800 GT, hell its even faster than the 7800 GTX 256mb, go for it cracking upgrade, and costs you nowt.
