Only play CSS nowadays and can do that @300fps with my config,is there any point in adding a 2nd card for SLi??

I know you are all going to say "Eye Candy" but tbh i play in top clans and put extreme framerate before "looking pretty"Lets face it,if you have time to see how pretty things are youre probably a noob who is dead lol.

On a serious note im adding to my PC specs a 20" widescreen display. Will a 2nd GT allow me to play with the settings im used to or would i be better off selling my GT and buy a 7900/x1900?

Rest of spec is in Sig 3.1ghz now [should update it really] and display set to performance.Timings on the ram are kinda loose 3.4.4.7 but the cpu voltage still sits at 1.425.

Not exactly seeing around corners, more like increasing layout.Seeing around corners with multi-monitors im sure STEAM would have thought of lol apart from it being physically impossible [ogc niot prevailing]

Semantics ;) Being able to storm the central room of the office map without having to physically check behind the door as you can see it in your 'periferal' vision can only be a good thing! It's the increased FOV that's a huge example - if you have a look at the Surround gaming site in that thread (especially the Blackhawk shot) you'll see what I mean! :p

If your getting 300fps at 1280x1024 on your current monitor, work out how many more pixels your new monitor is going to be, and then you can work out the expected framerate quite easy with a bit of maths (which i aint gonna do :)

Thanks i will take a look at surround gaming. If you had the choice would you opt for 1 big monitor or say 3x 17" TFTs?

Id go for one big monitor rather than 3 17". Just to let you know my single 7800gt at stock speeds copes with css at full whack on my 20" widescreen dell (1680x1050). If you were going for something like a 24" though it would struggle but i would always encourage a better single card than 2 not so good.
