hi

i jus upgraded my gpu cooler to a accelero X1 it now idles at 46C, i forgot to take note of the temp it was at on the stock cooler

i have a XFX 7800 gtx extreme edition, does any1 erlse have this on stock cooler and can let me no what temp it at to give me an idea of how much it droped.

also my gfx card is near silent now :) it very quiet cooler

I would've thought that other people's temps at stock might vary from yours (perhaps a lot) as it would depend on individual ambient temperatures outside and inside their case.

The best and most accurate way to satisfy your curiosity would be to refit your stock cooler and take some readings.
 
hehe i not up for that as i dont got any more of the heatpaste

i jus wanted a general idea of temps mine goes to 50 now on full load it used to be around 68 - 70 it think

still droped a decent amount and the noise level has droped loads

I have just moved from a Zalman VF700 to one of these fantastic Coolers on my 7800GT

I was getting 53 degrees at idle in a room temp of 30 and 71 degrees just after quitting a game of BF2

Im now getting 46 degrees idle and 57 after quiting bf2.

it really is a next gen cooler compared to the zalman VF700 and is easily to install and quieter then the VF700's fan which inturn means it must be quieter then the VF900 as it uses the same fan does it?

infact this must be the best alround vga cooler out there as the KuFormula cant be had in this country.

Considering the price tag these seem a real steal!
(Oops - just checked the price at OcUk and they're nearly twice the price of some competitors :eek: - not such a good bargain here there)

Please note than the accerlo pushes hot air onto the mboard, which in my eyes aint too good.

VF900 IMO beats it in everyway.

Cooling- Blows air around the card and onto northbridge too!

Looks- Beautiful!

Re-use- You can use it on most cards, so once your finished, use it on your next card!

Isn't that hot air onto the mobo as well?
