I'd like to see folks with same/similar gpu power test this out please

ati or nvidia

i cant run that map with any AA whatsoever at that res

AMD XP 3200
2gb Dual Channel DDR
ATI X800 XT PE

so 30 fps with 4 x AA is good

BF2 is a VERY demanding game in places.

also look at this andandtech review

http://www.anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=2679&p=8

your scores seem to be the same as what anandtech are getting with their benchmarks for your card

so id say the card is running as expected.

hi,

i'm currently runnin bf2 in 1280x1024, x4 aa @ high settings

And my fps is not high enough? [not sure if u can c in screen, but top left is showing like only 30 fps]

fps does go up to 50's & 60's, but it spends a lot of time @ 40 or worse on that map?

That doesn't seem right. I'm running BF2 on;

Leadteck 7800GTX (81.89)/ AMD 64/3700+SD / 2GB 3200DDR (2x1GB) @ 1280x1024 with everything maxed out with Full AA plus TSS/AF on card (was running the "ultra" hack for a while) and I get a steady 80-100fps (BF2 is capped at 100fps).

Card temp never goes about 75deg's either.

Only map I ever have issues on is Darquing Oilfields due to the high ammount of trees being rendered at 600mph in an F15!;) But even then, I only drop to about 70fps.

Im getting 45 FPS +

Settings are...

1600 x 1200
Supersampling
Gamma Correct Anti-aliasing
4x AA
8x AF

All ingame settings on high, draw distance 100%

System spec as in sig.

I've been running BF2 with all settings ingame at max, and a resolution of 1024x768 and get 75+ fps... Guess i need to increase the resolution, but i prefer the high fps in games like this...
