This’ll be my first AMD build, have owned a pc with an AMD cpu but all the pcs I’ve built over the past couple of decades or so have all been Intel.

Looking on YouTube have come across a 14inch monitor mod for the front of the case, not sure if I’m up to it tho it’ll have to be for the future as have spent a lot on this as is(like £1k more than I was planning).

My basket at OcUK:

Total: £3,290.78 (includes delivery: £11.98)

Think I’ll order one of those contact plate for the cpu, so like another £10 to the cost of the pc.

Top spec build, enjoy dude, its gonna be fast, but that cost must sting a little. I'm more old school, I want my CPU, MB and RAM for the cost of your CPU alone and my Gfx card for the price of your AIO
Thanks, unfortunately we don’t live in those times anymore. This’ll be the most expensive pc I’ve built, I could’ve saved some money by not going for all the “rgb puke” with the fans & the strimmer plus extension cables.
Was expecting to have to wait at least another week before receiving the cpu but got the email earlier saying it’s being readied to ship.

The final piece of the puzzle(at least in terms of building the pc) has arrived

This is very close to the spec I'll be assembling hopefully next month (depending on 7800X3D supply) so following with interest :)

Thanks, have you got the other parts ordered/in hand from a previous build?

No I haven't purchased any parts yet. I was in two minds about whether to build it myself or have OCUK do it, but am leaning towards building it myself now. I've got most of the parts wishlisted on here. I'm going for the same GPU and CPU as you so looking forward to seeing what kind of performance you get when it's done :D What resolution do you generally game at?
I recently got the Alienware AW3423DWF, upgraded from a 11 1/2 year old Dell U2711. At times have been wondering if I should’ve gone for a 4K monitor instead.

Got 2 lots of the triple fan(top & bottom of case), I put the screen protectors on the mirror part but dust, air bubbles etc got into it so not sure if I should’ve just peeled off the plastic peel when I put the fans in the case.

Not sure if I should have the fans as intake or exhaust on the AIO, have only 1 intake point(bottom fans) and 2 exhausts points(top fans and rear fan) before counting the AIO. I’ve understood things correctly the mirror bit in the middle of the fan blade will be facing into the case if the fan is set as exhaust while it’s the Lian Li logo if it’s intake.
Also do I let the Lian Li controller control the fans on the AIO or the motherboard which’ll be controlling the pump?

Looks like I’ll need to order a usb 2 header splitter as my motherboard only has 2, need 3 of them. If I’d splurged on the x670e version it has 3, but would’ve been £100+ even including cost of the splitter.

Not sure if I was being paranoid but the socket cover didn’t pop off I had to pull it, removed the cpu to check the socket and didn’t see any bent pins.
