I sure I read somewhere, the HD3200 that is found on 780G boards works quicker, with extra HD decoding features if paired with a AM2+/AM3 HT3 CPU, like a Phenom II, rather than a standard HT1 CPU like my current 4050e.
Is this true? And can someone point me in the direction of the info/proof please.
I dont want to play any serious games with my HTPC, but a bit of BF2 wouldn't go a miss and I'd be interested if a Phenom II would really make much difference to fps.
