The 5770 = 6870 = 7870
The 5770 was £120~ upon release.
Given that the UK economy has weakened in real terms since 2008 and the exchange rate has taken a big hit lately which will only get worse due to the latest QE I predict the 7870 will cost £170-210.
7970 = £400
7990 = £850
When are these due out then? Did'nt think they were coming for a while yet?
What's with all the deleted post's?
They know all secrets and Thundy apparently doesn't want them to spread.
Demand will be probably pretty high, afaik Nvidia doesn't have their new graphics cards ready yet and that means that AMD will completely dominate the market like with the 5800s launch. Stock numbers and allocation? There always seems to be a problem with that.
Retailers' mark up will be high, very high.
I'll go with this, depending on the usualy caveat of that it's actually a decent series of cards and not a donkey.No humor allowed, just serious answers apparently
Here's my serious guestimates
7850 - £120
7870 - £170
7950 - £230
7970 - £330
7990 - £699
7850 - £120
7870 - £170
7950 - £230
7970 - £330
7990 - £699
considering the 6850 is not quite as good as the 5850, does that mean the 7850 will be even worse than the 6850?![]()
