Why is the GPU clock so high? Is that what causes the high power draw with multi monitor on the 7900 series? With my 6800 XT and two displays it's the memory running at full speed that causes increased temp/power draw (around 40w), the GPU itself stays idle.Almost back to where it was!

Very kind of them given energy prices!yeah i think the asshats at AMD have put it in the too difficult pile.
that's odd, i've just checked my radeon adrenaline and i'm drawing 20-40w on my 7900XT at idle (only watching youtube on one screen)AMD still broken with multi monitors (and probably high refresh rate setups) I see. RDNA3 has been out 2 years and they've done nothing.
