Hi all,

Just built my new Pc and it won't show anything on a monitor. I have tried a CRT & an LCD - both have failed to find a signal.
The card itself is powered (as the fan is spinning) and I can hear no system beeps whatsoever - Is there a mobo speaker?!?!

E6300 with Tuniq Tower
DS3
2 x GB Crucial Ann
Leadtek 7900GS
Crucial 620w PSU
Antec P180

Please help!!!!

no beeps at all? its not the gfx thats the problem then.

Try one stick of ram to start off with

No beeps whatsoever....System powers on perfectly and all fans spin etc etc....The molex cable is properly connected to the graphics card so i can't see why that would be a problem.

Would I defo hear a noise if there was an issue? I cant see a system speaker anywhere.....

Please help!!!

Although connected it may not be making a proper connection. I have read on here of people having to file down the plug to get a decent connection. Definetly worth investigating mate.

But if the fan is spinning properly does that not mean it has suffient power?

I have moved the RAM about. 1 stick in yellow slot....then 1 stick in red slot...then changed the sticks. Still nothing..........

Could it be the CPU or possibly no power to the HD's? I have 2 set up plugged into the mobo, but I'm not sure if they're plugged into the correct HDD sata bits.
Would someone with a DS3 be able to advise?
I'm getting worried and really wanted it to be up and running by the end of today.....Will I have to RMA the graphics card!?!? :(

The system will still turn on with out the gfx connector plugged in, it will just lower its clocks/stay in 2d mode

When you turn it on turn off the cpu fan and feel the heatsink, if it doesnt get warm you need to test the cpu, mobo and psu somehow

set up with the bare parts
1 HD
1 stick of mem
graphic card
1 optical device
and remove all Peripheral devices and see if it boots
if it does boot add you other stuff 1 at a time and if you plug in a device that has a problem then its the last one you pluged in.

Your not overlookinbg that lack of beeps may be because there is no speaker attached are you?

I'm totally confused now.....I haven't overclocked it at all. This is because I can't get a message to display whatsoever
I have checked the molex connection to the graphics card and it seems fine. I dont see how removing a 2nd HD and X-Fi sound card will make a difference really.
The CPU is a worry, although I can see no real way of testing if it was DOA.....
