Hey, recently purchased a BFG GeForce 7900 GT OC 256MB and a MSI K8N SLI Motherboard

I want to overclock the card and have done so but for some reason the memory clock seems to be only reading at half of what it should be.

When i run 3d Mark 05 i get similar test score to other people with same card (8500)

But why is the memory clock frequency only detecting half of what it should be. (It should be 1360 standard)

Any help most appreciated!

(P.S the origonal memory clock frequency was 680 untill i overclocked it to 800)

I think you'll find thats because the number you are reading is doubled to give the memory frequency- Nothing to worry about ;)

That must be at bios/driver level for new GPU's like 7000's, cause 6000 series shows you the DDR speed (same GDDR3 ram although slower ) it would say 1.2Ghz (1200mhz) on mines not 600mhz, hmm new info for me for monday :)
