Hi,

Can you 7950 GX2 owners mind just posting your clocks?

I have read the 7950 GX2 owners thread and just need a more varied view on the clocks your getting.

Oh and the drivers you are using..

Thanks

91.37

Optimal (24/7): 700mem/550 core - 53c

Benchable : 800mem/600 core - 55c

Any higher and I get some artifects/tearing.

I read that the 91.3x drivers always auto detect on any GX2 550/700 is this true?

Mine

Optimal 700mem/550 core too is there a pattern forming?

Mine auto detects around that too. Does not mean it wont clock higher though. ;)

I'm on 91.45 and my card is a 7900GX2 (as opposed to a true 7950GX2). The auto-detect clocks are 597 core and 795 mem. I benched at 590/780 with no sign of artifacts. Temps are no higher than at stock, although load temps are 80C

Hi, i just got my 7950GX2 now where do i enable auto detect for the clock settings? Do i need to get coolbits?

Must say i just tried the Dark Messiah demo again, WOW it looked amazing on this card.

Let me know what it auto detects..

what make etc...

Ok got that. Ran the autodetect and it has chosen 550/700 for the optimal. That any good? It's a EVGA 7950GX2 bought from here. Got it today.

Same card as me and the same clocks on auto detect.Seems everyone auto detects the same lol...what driver you running?

The fact that so many cards auto-detect 550/700 suggests to me that this is an artificial limit in the auto-detect process for these cards. I reckon there's prolly more in the tank for most peeps.

As for after-market coolers, I'm sure the likes of Zalman could do a better job than the nVidia one, at least for you 7950GX2 guys. Because my card is a 7900GX2, I'll have to struggle on with the stock solution. That said, my card at 590/780 pulled more than 9K in 3DM06. (See rest of sys in sig below.)
