7970 7680x1440 eyefinity question....

I currently have 2 6950's in crossfire with the 3 Hazros. To make this work I had to have 2 active mini display port adapters to achieve the desired res for the 2 extra monitors.

I have noticed that the 7970 has an increased bandwidth on the mini dp port. Do you think I will need the active adapters anymore?

I would keep the two 6950's in CF mode. They will be faster and/or on par with the 7970!
