Over the last few weeks ive had about 7 occasions where I had major Artifacting ( lines on screen )
And ive had to switch off PC to fix it.

This has happend once while gaming the rest were when I was watching youtube videos or watching streams in twitch.tv

Ive done a fresh Driver install already and it has happend since.
Swapped which port I connect Monitor too

My temps seem fine highest is around 61c while gaming on intense games.

Idles around 32c

Ive only had the card 3-4 months

Should I query a return?

Specs:
i5 2500k @ 4.6ghz via OC genie
8gb Mushkin 1600
MSI GD45 mobo
Win 7 64 bit
7970 Lightning BE @ Stock 1150ghz
730w Be Quiet

Are you overclocking the gpu via a third party tool?

I think those lines on the screen are caused by clock speed changes on your gpu as it goes from idle to active, watching a video, using hardware acceleration. Are you using firefox? Can you try chrome instead as it does not happen to me on chrome. If you want to stick with firefox you can try disabling Hardware Acceleration first, or failing that you can try using afterburner to disabled ULPS. (ultra low power state)

I think the only way you will fix it is switching over to Chrome. I used to be a firefox man, till i realised that Chrome is so so much better, faster, uses less memory etc. You should switch. ;)

The weather is really nice today. I'll be popping down to Yarmouth and Cromer once summer arrives.
