7970 Lightning, worth the premium?

I'll tell you what this heat wave is killing my temps :) When I bought my HIS IceQ 7850 a few weeks back the temps were very low but now the sun is shining the difference is very noticeable!

Can't wait to get back to the 'proper' Scottish weather of howling wind and freezing rain so my temps can get back down to the level they should be at :) I mean c'mon doesn't the Sun know it's not supposed to shine so much in Scotland! Next thing you know we will be a nation of happy people!!!!
 
You must be in a better part of Scotland than me, overcast and rain the last two days, temps haven't peaked over 14c either!

It's been a bit overcast today but the last 3 or 4 days were absolutely scorching with not a cloud in the sky! Makes a change, Ayrshire is usually rain, rain, and more rain with a day of sun twice a year :)

Unlucky mate central scotland has been 20-24 where i stay in livingston for the last 4 days. A little overcast today though. My 6870 usually differs around 10 degrees between summer and winter but temps are always low so hardly ever bother to check.

Mate, I know just how you feel! Im in cumbria and my temps have risen, my 6950 ICEQ is still cool though, for the first time ever i have a fan set at a constant speed instead of auto.
 
So no order of priority either, payments fully cleared too, oh well will give it till dinner tomorrow then get in touch with cs I suppose!
