Not for heaven I'm not, there are some games that might be but I'm not 100% on that I just see less of a difference in certain games between my 470s at 480 stock speed than there is in most reivews between a GTX680 and a GTX590.

Any ideas why the 256bit memory bus is not holding the 680 back? AMD must have gone to 384bit for some reason (as did NV with the 580), but how comes the 128bit "downgrade" seems not to affect performance at all?
Can vendors increase that when they move away from the reference design, or is it set? Say with the 4GB 680 EVGA has promised.
AFAIK vendors are not allowed to change core specifications of the GPU like the memory bus. If NVIDIA want to increase the memory bus they will most likely create a new and improved GPU like the 560 TI 448.
7970 for £430
Finally a 7970 that's around the same clock speed as the GTX680 that doesn't cost the mars? But it is still more expensive than the GTX680And?
And?
just saying in case someone on here was thinking on getting a GTX680 as they were cheaper, now their the same price
Its actually not a good time to be buying graphics hardware, becuase when the next gen consoles come out next year, they might drastically shake up the market.
Meaning expensive £400 toys today are left looking a little bit silly.
so, how should I expect a 680 to stack up to 480 SLI, sorry dude I'm completely out the loop.

The standard price of the GTX 680 will drop below £400 within a week or two. Once supply is readily available, the $ to £ conversion will get closer to true transaction rates.
AMD will also have to cut the 7970 pretty soon because it is slower out of the box than the 680. Maybe £375 will be the norm for these before the end of April, with 7950's dropping to £300.
Competition is good for prices.
they both act stubborn and prices remain artificially high.
When NVIDIA/AMD drop their prices, retailers will have to also. I cannot see OCUK dropping their anytime soon. If they CAN charge £430+ then why not? This comment has been made before so feel free to ignore me
