7Zip Problem

Hi guys, I just downloaded 7Zip to try instead of Winrar. Problem is I start 7zip up and try to associate it with all the file types in the menu, click Apply/Ok but it doesn't remember them. Tried several times now, and tried selecting single file types in the list but doesn't remember any.

Using 4.57 x64 version.

Any ideas?

Vista? 7-Zip needs elevated privileges to set the file associations, so right click and run as administrator - just the once so you can set the associations.
