Am I mad to suggest these are the same sticks of RAM and both could hit the others timings?
(think I'm going to get the 2x16GB 3600GHz)

Pretty much so, our cost on these kits are within $3 of each other, hence the same deal price for both, 3600 will be most popular as it is becoming the most popular choice now because it is the most optimal and efficient speed for Ryzen 3000 platforms.

That's dissapointing. Oh well, understandable in this climate. Cargo flights have never been in more demand.

Yeah troubling times, we made a Powercolor order last month, it has still not shipped simply because our cost say per graphics card shipping wise normally works out around $6 per card, but at the moment cheapest quotes working out $20 plus per card so they are waiting for a better quote as that difference in shipping cost is sometimes the amount of margin we make so it makes a big difference to us or the sell price.

I'm New on this forum and want to say Hi to everybody. I was wondering if anybody else is having a similar problem as mine.
Been using my "16gb ripped edition" B die ram in a asus X570 gaming board with no problems and getting fantastic results.
I've just changed my board to the new "MSI x570 tomahawk wifi and now these sticks wont boot into the bios.
I'm having to run the board with cheap Corsair sticks which boot up and run fine.
I have updated the bios to the latest and still no joy. Any thoughts anyone ?

Have you tried just a single stick of the 8 Pack RAM in all the slots, sounds to me you may have got a faulty kit as Samsung B Die tends to have no compatibility issues and just works.

I've never liked that ns approach to gauging bin quality. In some regards it's useful but in reality, the XMP set by manufacturers is never this clear cut to say this kit is better binned than this kit (especially when talking about this grade of IC).

For example, Corsair has a 3600C14 kit. It's 14-16-16-36. That looks ok but when you realise it's at 1.45v, it's much less impressive.

Still if you look at that chart only about the ns, this Corsair kit is better than the TeamGroup kits. We know this isn't the case because those TeamGroup kits are at 1.35v. Basically I'm saying the ns should be accompanied by an * stating voltages.

Also about the difference between the 3200 and 3600 1.35v kits on here, I'm pretty sure Gibbo years ago confirmed these came from the same bin. Just different XMP profiles for non overclockers.

The Ripped kits come from their own bin as TeamGroup have to bin stock as in our initial design and request for the Ripped kit Teak basically told me the regular 3200/3600 is not good enough to meet this specification and so they had to source more stock and bin harder otherwise we would have had the RIPPED kits months and months ago but alas it took sometime.

Of course that’s not to say a regular 3200/3600 won’t hit some great overclocked like they do as that’s still very much possible, just saying the RIPPED kits are binned more aggressively and should in theory give the best results.

3600 cl16 8 pack 16gb increased from £140 to £170 today. That's rough. In October 2020 it was around 110-120. I presume prices increased a lot across all ram due to recent extra demand and restricted supply. Tough time for new builds.

Yes supply is in massive constraint. Prices are moving up also but the main reason is lack of supply.

Corsair and 8 Pack sales in last few months have hit record highs and whereas we would normally see sales volume drop off into January it has actually increased further.

Right now we can’t source any more Samsung IC for 8 Pack RAM so what we have will have to last until after Chinese New Year.

Corsair are also having record sales too and are sold out to the point everything they can produce is swallowed up immediately.

Ive managed to source stock from Kingston and Micron to help but all in all component sales across the board are at record highs these past few months and is showing no signs of slowing.

Hopefully prices might ease a bit March/April onwards but it’s an unknown. Micron, Corsair and other memory manufacturers are in a very good position as sales have never been so good!

Was just slightly concerned when Gibbo said they’re having problems sourcing any more B-die due to shortages, and would hate to see it go out of stock before mine is shipped.

I’m a patient man really.

Warehouse is behind, business in January has got busier than it was during Black Friday and were still massively restricted by Covid, so we can't just hire more staff, deliveries are taking 3-5 days typically on in stock items.

Just placed a new PO for 8 Pack RAM, they could only give me 10% of the volume I requested, less in some cases and all our cost prices pretty much doubled.

The market is getting really crazy, memory prices are rocketing and the demand still keeps increasing.
