8 Packs Benching Blog

Some company's support me yes.

Vendors are great and very helpful.

Ultimately though I do pay for a lot of hardware even if its supported in the fact that Vendors expect me to promote the products I bench with and assist users of the hardware. I do so in forums and via HWbot but all this takes time.

Also the cooling equipment I use costs a lot and electricity is not cheap too!!!

Here are some results from this weekends benching.

Thanks Gibbo.

Here you go guys another world record for the OCUK benching machine. Me and Hicookie did this Sunday when the other lads had left for the plane and took another record out.

3D mark 03 World Record:

GTX Titan 1750/1750 3770k 6.6ghz DDR3 2640 9-12-12-21 1T

Not a bad trip three world record benches and one second!!! More to come at computex I believe!!

I did some up and coming platform benching this weekend as well as some old stuff for the Team Cup on HWBot.

Here is the Team Cup stuff where the Team I am in came second out of 72 teams. My 03 and Vantage with Gulftown, Vantage with SB-E and Vantage with piledriver winning there categories. All my benches where top 3. I also did pi1mb with Gulftown and Ivy Bridge.

This one is 03 with gulftown at 6ghz and 580 at 1350+

Here is a pic of the Rig:

Here is the Vantage Gulftown Bench with 4 x 7970, CPU at 5.8ghz and GPU's at 1250/1850

Here is a pic of the rig.

Here is Piledriver Vantage CPU 5.85 and 4 x 7970 1200/1850. I used the cascade for this one as LN2 supply was short!!! Will try this CPU on LN2 later for some real high frequency's around 7.7ghz.

And the rig

SB-E vantage, SB-E 5.65 3 x 7970 1320/1900 and the rig!!! Single stage used to cool CPU on this one due to short supply on LN2 and Temps below -55 not being beneficial at all.

LN2 would have definitely befitted the Piledriver no doubt at all. I still won the category mind but if I had it I would have shot for 7ghz+.

I spent £150 on LN2 this weekend alone but more will be delivered Friday I hope.

I certainly could do with that yes. The price I pay is very competative (infact its ultra low) and the company deliver exactly when I ask. Its an amazing service. But its still not free Lol!!!

Afew more results.
