Hello just wondering what is needed to get a system running with the x670 gaming ax and a ryzen 7950x.

the motherboard has 2 x 8 pin connectors for the cpu above where the cpu sits.

the leaflet that came with the board is very vague and just seems to point to putting in either 1 x 8 pin cable or 1 x 4 pin cable.

Unfortunately my psu (kolink 1050w) only has 1 of these 8 pin cables and my first thought would have been to plug 2 of these in.

the psu did however come with another cpu cable but this is a 4+4 cable and it does not seem to fit the 8 pin slot when put together.

so anyway whats aactually needed to get this running properly?

at first glance it didnt look like it would fit.

anyone else tried a 4+4 on this series of boards?
