I emailed corsair about this about a week or two ago asking if they were compatible with the AX1200i and got this :

Hello. No they are not. Also we are not sure when they will release the sleeved cables for the 1200i

Regarding corsair link, the PSU comes with the equipment needed. You plug this device into the port on the PSU and the other end onto a usb header. I have not connected mine up but I dont think you need anything more than that.

Wish i would have read this before now!! just took my cable management apart to fit this kit & learned the 24pin fits fine, soon as I tried PCI-E & CPU I learned they dont fit :@ sending back for refund as I asked before hand and was advised it was fine.

Another problem I have is I wanted 4 x SP120mm fans and I have 2 x SP and 2 x AF.

Will it be a problem running faster fans on the bottom & slower on the top of the radiator in a push pull. Basically its blowing @ 1900rpm and exhausting @ 1500rpm. I only noticed after I fitted them and saw the speeds on the controller.

BTW... finished look on your build is amazing!! didnt realise could fit so many rads in a 800D!! I will be going for a top 360 and 140 rear. Dont think my single gpu & cpu loop would need it, how difficult was the extra 240mm rad in the bottom to fit? Think with that loop I could do my SLI 680 (when i can afford it) and chipset.

Taking the mid plate etc out was a bit of a pain. Before I replace the mid plate and removed the hot swap bay, I did put a 240 in the bottom removing the bottom hdd cage is easy with a dremel also just had to cut the hole on the bottom of the case with it.

how ever much a pain it was to me it looks well worth it!!

do you have any idea about the fan issue i have? really cba taking them off but they are wrong. cant see it being a major problem but just want to be sure its not going to mess up air flow

I guess they should be the same really mate but not sure if it will be an issue. start a new thread in the W/C section someone will know for sure

thanks, will just swap them. Once I start to mod my case I will be looking to you for advice if you dont mind :) not going well so far though, nightmare with the psu cables & now the fans!!

I've been using the corsair link supplied with the PSU, the software is apparently still in beta but it's good if you want to manually override the PSU fan and control the speed of it.
