It's called Motion-X. Great GPS app that records tracks and speed/distance data. Even exports them to Google Earth.

So can you ski faster than you can fall?

Fastest I've skied is about 65 km/h, about the same as my max cycling speed.

Freefall I've hit just under 200mph skiing just over 50mph. Not quite caught up yet!
