80s theme party - best ideas?

I'm off to an 80s themed party on friday, just wondering what ideas you lot could come up with, obviously I know about all the icons of the 80s so what would you go as?

I'd love to go as a transformer just for the laughs like this guy, google for 'Transforming Transformer Costume' but that'd be pretty dumb. Ideas anyone?

I'd go as a yuppie. Black trousers, polished black shoes, blue stripe shirt with white collar and cuffs, bold yellow tie and a set of braces. A Filofax and Motorola 8500x mobile phone are also necessary.

Last night I went to an 80's theme party, just backcomb your hair if its long enough and coat with can upon can of hairspray, tank top, boots, jeans tucked into the boots.
You will look the dogs danglies.
