I'd appreciate any reccomendations as it'll mainly be for watching tv shows/movies and music, need a sound card obviously, knock yourselves out, please.
 
Aside from what Syk3 says the most obvious issue to me is that you have picked an IDE hard drive when SATA is the better choice and often costs less to boot. I'm not so sure you do need a separate sound card, onboard sound is pretty good and unless you have good speakers it probably won't make that much of a difference. :)
