83.20 driver

I've got a BFG 7800GT with 81.98, should i update?

I need to un-install the old ones first right?

Its done, and this website is choppy.

3Dmark 03 & 05 wont run, and all my Nvidia settings are gone in advance.

I think i'll go back to my 81.98 if i can find it.
 
it sounds like you've uninstalled the old drivers, install the new ones and restart the computer, otherwise everything will appear choppy. :)

Isn't that what i was supposed to do?

Should i just run these over the top like?
 
Well it works now.

I think its a bit slower in the mard tests, but not much, and they can differ time to time.

Buyt one thing it has added is an option to OC the GFX card.

I'm wondering if i should or not.

There's an auto button, i might let that go and see what it comes up with, but am on stock cooler, and not sure how far i sohuld push it manually.

Its at 425 Mhz core & 1.05 GHz mem.

Should i push it anymore?

PS: The GPU temp is 38C, seems low from what i gather, the threshold 115C.

dokko - go for it ;)

Anyone else tried these 83.20's yet? I heard mixed things about the 83.10's so i'm a little hesitant to jump in
