840 Evos Raid0 - Zero them out?

Hey chaps,

Had my Samsung 840 Evos in Raid0 for some time now.

Does this performance still look okay for raid 0?

I plan to do a fresh install of windows 10 soon,Should i Zero out the drives on another PC to refresh them both to get even more performance back?

The 840 Evo had a bug in older firmware that caused slow speeds btw.

If they're not on the latest firmware, I'd do the following..


Take a system image using Macrium Reflect.
Un-raid them, add temporally to another system.
Install latest version of Samsung Magician
Update firmwares on both drives
Put back into original system
Re-created the RAID
Restore image.

-Whether the speed difference of RAID0 is noticeable outside of benchmarks is another thing.. Depends what you're using them for I guess, if they're used for video editing or anything disk intensive, then you'll see the benefits.
