Hey lads, as per title my 840 PRO's, both are in RAID-0 and they are all backed up and connected to Intel SATA III ports. Cables aren't bending at funny angles and are only 14 months old.

One has shown an increase in CRC Errors from 4 to 24 in 5 days while the other 840 PRO at another point in time went from 1 to 6. Had the 840 PROs for about 2 years and in total have written 12TB.

Sure I've had hardlocks with various Nvidia drivers and needed to promptly shut down otherwise it's stable and without any other issues other than some times during gaming my fps would drop causing stutter - maybe it could be the SSD slowing down before fps raises back up

Had already ran full ckdsk including sectors and came back without any problems, what else can I do to dig further and is the results below okay?

Then, I move on and look at the 840 EVO (has updated firmware) and see that is way higher at 82  Don't understand this when my other two EVO's are at 0 CRC Errors alongside my 2TB HDD.

I got loads and found out it was dodgy SATA cables causing it. Replaced them and they have been fine ever since.

Your 7k CRC's is very worrying indeed and the highest I've ever seen on SSDs, even the unreliable OCZ Vertex's way back wasn't this bad but at least ours are still working :D

For cables only 14 months old to cause these errors is a bit of pain but an easy fix if that's the solution. Trouble is, for all the devices that are connected I need more than OcUK have stock of that I'm going to have to shop around a bit but got to be done.

They work perfectly fine now and have no issues as I bought a bunch of new Gigabyte brand cables to replace the ones I had (which were cheap thin ones).

Incidently when I bought the cables I got sent far too many, so if you want some with one flat and one angled connector (which I won't use) send me a trust.
