Hey, looking for some advice on my first pc build I only really use my pc for gaming and a little programing, Here's what I'm thinking

Case: NZXT Phantom 410

PSU: Corsair GS 600

Motherboard: ASRock Extreme 6

CPU: Intel Core i5 3750K

Cooling: Corsair H70 CORE

RAM: Corsair Vengeance 1600 16GB

GPU: MSI 2GB 7870

Hard Drive: 1TB Seagate Barricuda

Shall i bother with a SSD I hear there are loads of issues with them still?

What should I expect from that rig will it be capable of ultra setting on most games?

That's for the help in advanced :)

I think hono must cheat, because everytime I see him post a build it is pretty much spot on for the budget at hand. Stop cheating hono....at life...

I live life by my own rules.......no need to cheat ;)

There is always room for a difference of opinion. I enjoy seeing how other people balance the builds out. I'm over slightly, more so if an optical drive is needed. The 7950 is definately better and seeing as he cops some free games it helps sweeten the deal :D

EDIT

Just to prove my point, you can go mini-itx if you want to be different

Yeah, there's not much between them. I would go for the first build just for the option of a monster cooler. I like the look of the small cases, but don't think I'd ever get one

He could add a CLC cooler down the line, like I've suggested to you because you have tall RAM. Even a cheap one would do. If it proves to be a little noisey he can ditch the cheap CLCs stock fan, sandwich the radiator between the cases two supplied fans and add say a 200/230mm fan at the front of the prodigy :)

I read some reviews on the gigabyte mobo you said abduction aprently it's not great is that true? Ddefiantly want watercooled so not worried about how much extra that costs . Other than that like the first spec a lot defiantly contemplating it :) thank you and recommendations on a watercoler or is the original one I specified good enough only problem with the card is to big for nzxt phantom 410 and I completely feel in lo've with that case? Thanks :)

I've used the Z77-D3H plenty of times, it's a good mobo. 3 year uk based warranty and has a dual BIOS too. It's not voltage locked like most entry level Z77 mobos and overclocks well. It's not for SLI/Xfire but this means spending more on the mobo to get that feature and you would need to up the PSU spec too depending on the GPU you use.

The shinobi can't mount the H100i CLC but you can use the smaller radiator versions like the H80i. If you like the NZXT case that's cool but it is more cash. I'd rather pump cash into the GPU budget than the case if working to a strict £850 budget. How you balance the build is really down to you, I look forward to seeing your next spec :)

Yes SSDs are awesome. 10 maybe 20 seconds tops to boot into windows ;)
