I gone for the Pro as seems evo have problems with controller or summint! Cant wait to get this in my last SSD broke and never got round to buying new one til now so BFH should load in sec not mins lol

Only the 840 Evo has problems AFAIK. The 850 Evo is sound, I'm not sure I'd bother getting the Pro over it.

I had 2 840 Pro's but this this time have gone for the 850 Evo as unless you're desperate for the longer warranty I don't think you'd see any difference in use. The worries over TLCs write endurance don't seem to be a realistic problem.

I used to have two 840 evos but then returned one for a 850 and the other was a rma and replaced with another 850 evo

Real world usage you won't notice a difference between the two.

It was only the 840 evo's that had the issue.

I have the 850 evo and no issues to report so far.
