8800 fan control

I cannot adjust the fan control for my 8800 either in the nvidia settings or ati tool

when gaming or benchmarking i've never heard the fan get any louder, but it does spin at full speed when the pc s first turned on

i think it maybe overheating during gaming and want to increase fan speed.

in ati tool at my current o/c of 595 / 896.90

it get upto 80deg then starts popping up artifacts

the latest rivatuner works ok for me, I found increasing the fixed duty cycle from 60% to 70% helped a lot & still kept it quiet as I find auto mode does not increase the fan speed enough.
