8800 GTX cooling

Is additional cooling required for an overclocked 8800 GTX if so can you reccomend anything ?

nope. aftermarket cooling won't get you any higher without Voltmods.

But it does keep them a LOT cooler.

The standard cooler will be fine as these cards can go up to arround 117*C. The card will be artifiacting due to overclocks before it hits these temps. However if you want the card to run with less noise the it may be worth considering one as the fan speed will have to be increased using the standard cooler

The standard fan is less than noisy even at full speed. If i wasnt on water i would have kept mine on.

Thts a good card you had, was it vanilla or an extreme version.
