Just plugged this in and tried a few heavy duty games. I haven't been this impressed with an upgrade since the days of the Geforce 2. And I upgrade a lot :p

I can't believe it! This thing destroys my old X1900XT - I really mean it, it wipes the floor with it. And its not even breaking a sweat!! The image quality possible is fantastic too. And I only have an X2 4800 :D

Expensive it may be, but there's a lot of value in there performance wise. I hate to say it, but you get what you're paying for.

must be a great match with your Intel 486DX 33, 4mb RAM and 13mb HDD

got any benchmarks? 3dmarks? any overclocking done on it yet? ;)

haha great :D , carl how did you sort your issue?

Well i swapped the PCI-E connecters around.. that seemed to fix it

+ i added my x-fi xtrememusic and i now get 50fps more.. :P

thanks to fornowagain , he was very helpful and the one who suggested the idea of swapping the connecters around :D

ThE 8800 IS definitly one of the biggest steps forward, like voodoo2/GF2 - awe inspiring step above

Jokes asside, them old games still had good game play. :)

I had all settings on maximum, every single one, and AA and AF on highest

0% under 23fps
0% under 40fps
100% between 80 and 219 fps
