No people can just buy 8800GTS's for that, its because they are not been made possible, but then again the GTS 640 and 320 are well cheap now, they probs just milking the 8800GTX series, its got for second hand GTX owners though, means the resale price has gone up

Well from what I saw OcUK had the cheapest price around when they had those this week only deals. They seem to have gone up around 25-40 quid everywhere

Can't see the problem myself as it always happens, when a cards been EOL'd and the stock is nearly out, the price goes up, as once they are gone thats it, there is no more.

lol so lucky both the e8400 and 8800 gtx went up a week or so after i purchased by around 60-70 for both.

The cheapest I ever saw them here was £164inc, you can still get them for less than that. I'm still not sure if it's worth it for me though with rumours of new cards coming in the summer, as for once in my life (Voodoo1 excluded) I fancy a card that will blow me away.
