8800GT monday??

hmm normally if it's on sale for Monday it should have been available for pre-order a few days before?

Also normally the OCUK vanilla version won't be available until the cards have been released for a while, so expect to see only the BFG & EVGA models on Monday.

I think Gibbo said he already has OcUK versions ready to be sold for approx £141 to £151 inc VAT

Nope the GT is only a 256bit interface. The GTS is 512bit i beleive. I beleive tahts the onyl difference. And the memory obiously but they will overclock the same i suspect (which is very well i also suspect). As for the gtx im wanting to know badly when these will come out if at all. I want to build in november but i gues ill be waiting later now :(

no sign of pre orders

And there won't be. It's a "hard" release worldwide. No retailers can even list the cards until Monday due to NDA.

Some have made a mistake though but there has only been 2 sites in the entire world who have "accidently" posted the card up early.

If you see the other thread with the first proper review where the card beats the pants off the 8800 GTS and 2900xt cards, I can see why Nvidia wanted to keep it under wraps. If reported a month earlier with reviews and pre-order, nobody would have bought any GTS cards in the last month and perhaps even not bought a GTX.

19th of November is not too far away, and it's surely going to be better performance that the GT. Hope they don't hike the prices up too much.

Do youi not remember the q6600 GO? That price was hiked up a lot. Specialy on ocuk tbh, was prity poor that you could have gotten a Go elsewhere cheaper then they were selling B3. Prices have evened out now at least.

Haha, ocuk are famous/infamous :D for it. I don't buy ocuk branded stuff cos they just don't clock well. Last time I bought an oem cpu and it already had a heatsink stain on it

I'll keep my eye on prices around the web so I'm not as impatient as everyone else who'll be clamouring to buy one on Monday.

I beleive so if overclocked. The current GTS overclocks to GTX speeds but lacks stream processors. Now it will onyl be 8 or 9 behind the current gtx and because of the smaller die will overclock even further.

will the price of these new gts' be the same as current ones or what?

and there wil be a new gtx coming out? if so when?

Ive not heard any definite facts abotu a GTX but i hope so. If so id beleive end november possible early december. GTX is usualy 20 or so days behind *** GTS i beleive?

The new GTS should be onyl a bit more t hen the current. But is not usualy the case on ocuk lol.

I brought a OCUK 8800gtx and its now sitting at 640/1600/2200 shame it doesnt clock well should have gone for a different one!!!

I would guess that looking at the GT prices, the new GTS will be same prices as the current GTS cards ie ocuk unbranded starting at £210 going to £280 for high end BFG/EVGA

Don't forget due to ATI, Nvidia has had to drop the price of the GT by £30. They really should have been in the £170 - £210 price range.
