8800GTS 320MB OR 640MB

I have a Samsung 19" TFT with a resolution of 1024X1280. Is it worth paying extra for the 640MB one, ive read reviews on some sites saying at this resolution differences are negible. Is there really very little difference at this resolution?

No, you'll notice little to no difference at that resolution. Go with the 320MB.

Get the 640 version, and a widescreen monitor.

320meg is definitely the better bet at 1280x1024.

I've actually been quite surprised that the price differential between 320 and 640 meg variants has remained so high.

320mb GTS at that res, running that res here with mine, handles everything maxed no sweat.
