8800GTS 70C??

I got a new case a few days ago, and my 8800GTS temps are now 65-80c idle(they were 45-50c in my old)

What are temps like with the case side off?
Seems to be staying around 60c. Ambient temperature was about 65c with the side panel on but dropped to about 50c now.
Weird, maybe it's just your room temps? I know that with my CPU temp, even tho I dont feel temp differences sometimes, I know there is a temp difference coz my CPU can be around 5 degrees cooler at idle.

isnt that the P180 or whatever its called? thats pretty hot for a case that people wont stop going on about
I was thinking of getting a NZXT Lexa.. looks like a very nice case with good cooling properties - got a side fan right onto the GPU.
but anyway I put this small case fan into this old grey piece of crap and its idling at 50-55 C.
I put this small house fan on as soon as I booted - went onto the temp readings and GPU was at 42 and CPU at 20
