Picked mine up today and up and running, now the new nvidia panel is abit weird to get used to, been using ati for a year now, it has lots of different settings for aa/af etc what settings should i use for this card as theres a few to choose from.

Not getting this card atm, ive tried oblivion and 2142 and i can't see where everyone goes on about the better iq over ati cards just looks the same to me ?

I have the control panel set up as so

Anistropic filtering - 16x
Antialiasing mode - Enhance the application setting
Antialaising setting - 8xQ
Conofomant texture clamp - Use hardware
Error reporting - off
Extension limit - off
Force mipmaps - none
Gamma correc antialiasing - on
Multiplc graphics card acceleration - Multiple display performance mode
Negative LOS bias - Clamp
Texture Filtering - Quality
Thread Optimisation - on
Transparance antialaising - off(tried multi and super)
Trilinear optimisation - on
Tripple buffering - off
Vertical sync-use the 3d application setting

Could really do with some help with some of these aint got a clue

Hi mate, just put mine in yesterday and have been playing about with it. The Enhanced in Game Mode basically enhances the in game aa. Its recommended to set this to on, then 8x, not 8xq as it will then use whats called Coverage Sampling AA (CSAA). this gives the appearance of 8xq at the almost the performance of the ingame setting. i have mine setup like this...

Anistropic filtering - application controlled
Antialiasing mode - Enhance the application setting
Antialaising setting - 8x
Conofomant texture clamp - Use hardware
Error reporting - off
Extension limit - off
Force mipmaps - none
Gamma correc antialiasing - on
Multiplc graphics card acceleration - Multiple display performance mode
Negative LOS bias - Clamp
Texture Filtering - Quality
Thread Optimisation - on
Transparance antialaising - Super
Trilinear optimisation - on
Tripple buffering - on
Vertical sync-use the 3d application setting

But also its best to set the modes u want for each game. I've got Tomb Raider Legend running with enhanced aa 4x and it looks great and rarely drops below 50fps at 1680x1050, all next gen effects on. Looks totally stunning!

Basically just keep tweaking til you find what looks good for each game, and create profiles for those games that aren't in the list.
Hope this helps!
