O.k *competitor*
Second thing Im an Asus man, I have a Asus MB, question is are there any diffences, pros and cons between all the makes of 8800's I.e, XFX, Gainward, MSI etc etc, as I they dont do an Asus yet.

whaaaa!! get rid of competitor name fast! :o

And in answer to your question, personally i havn't had enough experience with many types of make of graphics card, but i always work on the principle that 99% of the time you get what you pay for ;)

edit: also, never ever EVER! use credit options from any site. have you even seen how much you will end up paying if you 'pay later'? a £408 quid card will end up costing you £798.21! Would you seriously pay that much for a few months grace?

Physically its the exact same card (made by Flextronic) and in most cases the cooler as well. With that in mind its down to warranty, price and support.

I always use to go for BFG cards as they have lifetime warranty periods however i hear that the XFX catds are surpose to be that little bit better...

whats other peoples views?

everyone raved on about them on these forums up into they had that dodgy batch of 7 series cards, but bfg had the same issues and they still going strong.

If they are like any other cards soon after launch, they are all made in the same place and shipped to the manufacturer to slap their sticker on, go for best price/warranty/bundle option.

Bottom line all cards are the same with a different sticker, consider the warrenty or just get the cheapest you can. They are all the same.

Had to do a double take there. :D

Just buy the cheapest, they are all based on the referance design. :)

I wouldn't buy a 8800 GTX with only a one year warranty.

I mean I won't have the card that long but still!
