Thanks

Super, thanks mate.

Tbh as far as i know (and thats not a lot LOL) the 3870 X2 is the best gfx out atm and if that doesnt have any issues then i think i may go for that

I've just installed the nvidia 174.16 drivers on my 88xx and anti-aliasing is working as perfectly as it has always done.

EDIT: I just quickly scanned over the thread, every query he has posted has already been answered by people actually running nvidia cards. Are you just referring to the accused broken anti-aliasing or something else?

I can confirm AA is working, however ATI AA is superior. Using the microlight on the main page, the cables are a bit jaggy.

Does FS-X use both cores?

Yes, the SP1 patch increased multi-core usage, but still not as much as I think it should.

Core 0 should be used to mix core 1-3 together... so core 1 could do flight dynamics, core 2 could do graphics, core 3 do everything else...

Although FS-X is VERY GPU limited atm, esp with high autogen :)

Concorde it should do

its a pity it doesn't :(

disappointment for me after seeing how good Lock-on performance is (16xFSAA for almost "free" !!!)

Wish ATI had a 8800GT killer, would have preferred to have ATI..Race 07 doesn't look as good, nor does HL2- more shimmering on AA and wire fences in the distance.

shimmering ?

I ran Counterstrike last night (same core) and no shimmering ?

8xFSAA , 16xAF - 1900x1200 - "Graphics benchmark" in Counterstrike - average FPS = 200 :)
