8GB USB Drive problem

I have an 8GB Corsair USB drive bought from OcUK. I am trying to move a 4.5GB .mkv onto it, but it's saying there isn't enough space...

What gives?

Format in ntfs first

IIRC, if you format in NTFS you have to use the sefely remove feature everytime
