i been running this machine for over 1 year and been running fine but the last week i been having a problem with the audio and system performance iam using onboard sound.
When i run a few tasks such as installing the audio goes jumpy and the mouse becomes stuck the whole perfomance of the system drops
i tryed reinstalling windows ive got all the same drivers on i had before now and still the same problem
my set up is
windows xp Pro (Real Paid for copy)
3.0ghz p4 800mhz fsb
1gig od ddr 400mhz duel channel 2x 512mb
1x 200gig sata 1x120gig sata
16x duel layer dvd writer
6800 256mb agp card
mobo 8IPE1000-G gigabyte (fully updated bios)
ive tryed disableing the onboard sound and trying to run a few tasks but the mouse becomes stuck and the system performance really drops ive also tryed moving the ram about and different sticks in aswell and a different gcard in aswell.
does anyone think its my mobo or maybe somthing simple i need 2 change which i over looked?
