It needs proper hardware acceleration either in the CPU or in the GPU. And an 8K monitor do display what you are streaming.
Have you got an 8K screen?
Can somebody test it with a 3900x or 3950x on chrome and hardware accelerate off?
Its a mess on my 3900X with this, looks like 20fps and using over 80% CPU usage..
So i installed Firefox, runs smooth with HA disabled and uses around 40-45% CPU usage.
Chrome either sucks or i need to reinstall it.
I might actually look into switching to Firefox permanently![]()
Yes, I have not seen 1 cpu that could play the 8k60fps video perfect
As stated, it's playing perfectly for me... Unless I'm missing something?
Are you sure you selected 8K and not running it 1080p?What am I missing here? It’s flawless on my phone?
No idea just hit play! Are you sure you selected 8K and not running it 1080p?
I posted above showing that even an 1800X can play it using Firefox. Just for fun, I downloaded Chrome and tried it in that:Either you have hardware accelerate enabled or your video is not set to 8k60fps.
If a 3900x can't play it how can a 3700x play it?
That is guaranteed not 8K then. I tried it on my iPad pro and it did not even give 8k as an option! No idea just hit play!

Yes, I have not seen 1 cpu that could play the 8k60fps video perfect. So the 3900x can no do it either. Waiting for 3950x 3960x and 3970x.
If those can't play it smooth on crome with HA disabled, then it is a chrome bug.
