Not going to go into it all but my question is simple
would putting the os on a 80gb hdd (sata) with 8 meg cache but noticaby slower than putting it on a 250gb hdd ( sata ) with a 40gb partion for os with 16meg cach.
If you kept your system optimised and clean then I would have thought youd see some difference. But as soon as your system gets cluttered all the benefits go out the window
