In the toughest of the tough comps I came second. GSKILL world cup of overclocking. Losing out by 5mhz memory overclock. So very close.

I have FSX and Heaven WR's also from two events.

I only took part in two events.

Came second in the one I cared about. In the other you had to use Kingston ram and my samples where terrible. Not even C9 2400 = NO CHANCE. Others had similar issues. Basically if you got the decent ram you won. Some where dong C9 2800+

5mhtz at those speeds is insanely close! Well done on the WR's, always nice to see them! Shame there's no prize winnings with them tho :(

Thought things looked a bit off - seeing splave that far down the rankings too!
 
Prize I dont care. I just wanna win.

GSKILL comp format was very tough so pleased with that. Splave is great at 2D which is always more the focus of any memory vendor. As everyone on here knows I can do 2D but my main focus is 3D. SO to beat many great 2D benchers is great.

Yeah you cant do Super Pi, XTU etc with bad memories. The rest of the system is known very good as I ran it in the GSKILL comp, Only change was Kingston memory. It was the luck of the draw like I said some got C9 2800 I could not get C9 2400. Neither could Splave. Those who got good sticks won.
 
It was pretty obvious watching the OC TV and other videos on YouTube that interviewed you. I thought your strategy was spot on, just them mem sticks gave up on the big stage. Tough luck but great performance from all 6.
