£900 MSI GX60?

If you ignore the benchmarks the GX60 is a superp laptop. I have been using one for a few days and it is fine. Anything you would normally do in windows like browsing, burning a dvd even basic photo editing works fine and feels no different to my desktop.
Gaming is also very good and games run well. Some do require a few tweeks here an there but for gaming at 1080p this laptop does it very well.

I would definitely budget for a decent SSD with the GX60 it brings it alive. The stock 7200rpm feels very sluggish.

Hmmm, it's a rather crappy AMD processor in the box with it though. I'd pay the bit extra and take the same card with an ivy personally. Seems rather pointless having one of the best laptop cards going and a processors that's barely better than a core2duo.

It does exactly what it says on the tin. It is a decent gaming pc for less than £900. In Ivy cpu will give better results but how much so in gaming is debatable. Tbh I have tried a few games inc cpu intensive ones and they all play ok.

I am really, really tempted by such a price for a 7970m... but the very poor non-gaming performance of the 4600 really puts me off... who wants tp spend almost a grand on a laptop with a CPU that's only as strong as an i3 in most things? It just doesn't make logical sense when you compare it to the CPU's currently out. If only this chassis was offered with an i7 Ivy Bridge option for £100-£150 more, as I really don't want a fugly Clevo. :(

I bought this laptop and played dota2 @60 fps . Wow @40-50 fps medium setting 1080p. Cs:go medium settings 1080p @ 50-60 fps . I must admit they are not bad scores but i expected more :(

It's a shame this laptop has such an underpowered cpu for my needs, it would easily keel over whilst playing arma 2, which is the main game I play, I have to get a more expensive system with an i7 then :( deciding between clevo or alienware currently, but I'd need to get a large discount to make the m17x worthwhile :/

CPU limitations, sadly. What scores do you get with both of the games on max settings as opposed to medium (so that GPU is utilized more)?

Well max fps is still same only more lower dips. Dota2 is max setting though with vsync on. All games i put vsync on , cant stand that tearing.. :D .
Tonight i had my G15 keyboard attached and u can show cpu utilisation on the keyboard and it said 40% in all games with core 0 or 1(first core) sometimes on 70 %. Thats a bit strange though  I would expect some higher core usage if the cpu is limited.

Are you getting the Enduro issue, can you check GPU utilization?
