900D Alternative

Do you need a case that big?

What is going in it?

Have you considered the 750D, it is still a big case and fits pretty much anything you could want and looks top notch too!

actually thats a good shout, the 750D looks good too, ill take a look at it in detail. I don't really need one that big but I would like the space to fit my water-cooling hardware and some room for more

I just got a 750D it is HUGE. it makes my old akasa eclipse look tiny, and I thought that was a big case. The 900D I checked the specs, It wouldn't actually fit on my desk, it would over hang front and back by few inch, making the legs irrelevant it would be sat flat on its belly.

But if the 900D isn't big enough I have found an alternative

now that is some serious rad space!

the issue with the 900D is the space behind the tray which on initial inspection seems enough but....

once you wang in the rig in my sig plus all the cables, fans, splitters and controllers isnt enough space. way too tight

How many 480mm rads can you fit in there?

448 excluding the front doors as you would need to get in there to fit them (also excluding the bottom)

that may need more than a single D5 :D

I like the setups some Americans do where they run the rad straight in to the swimming pool. sure its extra hose but thats it - job dome.

Over here the bloody thing would be frozen solid for 6 months of the year

Lmao. That would mean you get subzero temps for 6 months so no need to do a 24/7 ln2 setup :p

Ill take 40 then, my 1300 g2 should be able to handle it. Is the xspc 750 bayres actually that loud?

yup. 2-3 weeks and it was ripped out. in another thread someone said they settle down so i'm gonna leave it running a dead loop for 2 weeks solid and if it doesnt shut up - BIN
