920 DO O/C

what a chip within 5 mins of fitting it am happily sitting qt 4.2Ghz with a bios update and my first settings i tried.
Temps are sitting highest core at 70C!! this seems about a little high and im sure i can get it down a bit with a bit of tweaking, as i went straight for 1.3V on the CPU.

So how high can i go, what are other peoples 24/7 settings?
i have all voltages set to 4 above minimum apart from Vcore (if that's what its called!!)
has anyone got any advice to allow me to push this chip as far as it can go?

Been playing around a bit and prime stable (8hrs) at 4.4Ghz with a bios Vcore of 1.35 (in windows about 1.325), was thinking of upping the blk to 220 so my RAM can run at its native 1800Ghz.

whats the max volts i can put through the CPU and still expect to have a working system after linpack testing? temps are hovering around the high 60s under load.

I would like to know this also, got my D0 920 yesterday and its at 4.2 with 1.344v in windows and it gets as hot as 79c. is it safe? I have read that its not safe to go above 1.36v with the D0.

from what ive read on here the temps are higher than C2Q, is that temp under load, if so i would say it isnt a problem.
ive only just started messing about and im not sure about max voltages, would like to see how high i can this CPU seems to be flying at the moment!!

Try and keep you voltage at 1.3 or lower, and your temps below 80c under load.

mmm mines at 1.35 in the bios but temps are mid 60s under load, where did yu get the 1.3 from?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you can go a lot higher than 1.3V.

I'm sitting quite easily at 4.0GHz, have lots of headroom to push quite a bit higher but there's no need really at the moment - for a 24/7 overclock anyway!

Got mine stable at 4.2ghz with 1.264v, all my problems are with the memory overclock...

mine needs at least 1.3v for 4.2 I think it is one from a unlucky batch or i am doing something wrong. its still way better then the C0 i had

mine is same have to have it to 1.3 in bios or it just falls over ontesting

i should just stop messing about just spent the last 2 hrs trying to get stable again......now at [email protected] temps hovering around 65 using linpack

Would you be so kind as to share some BIOS screenshots with the forum? I'm pretty new to overclocking and adding an ASUS Rampage II Extreme and an i7 to the equation has pretty much made my brain explode... would love to find an example of a stable overclock on this motherboard as a starting point.
