960T x4 explination please?

i have just this second put this in and its my first phenome 4 core, before i had a athlon 250

bacsicly after i have put it all in, i turn my machine on look at core temp and its now a 6 core ? and the frequ/load is bouncing all over the place from 798mhz - 2993mhz - 3392mhz

just on desktop it looks like this

just wondering does all this look on? and sound ok?
 
The Phenom II X4 960T is a Thuban (Hexcore) but locked as a Deneb (Quad core)

Download CPUZ and HWMonitor please and give a screenshot of both.

But from the quick glance, that Phenom II X4 960T is unlocked to the hexcore, this is down to a button on the motherboard, or a BIOS option.
Either way, it's a good thing.
 
so my pc done that automaticly without me doing anything
sorry about the SS i dont think this will help but i tryed changing some setings in photobucket lawl

is it normal for those frequesncys and loads to jump around every second?
and any way i can find out the cpu temps? :<

The frequency changing is just cool n quiet doing its job. You don't have temps on core#0 etc because its been unlocked but that middle sensor in temperatures should give you a rough indication of your cpu temp what cooler are you using?
Edit: also weird that your top cpu voltage reading is 1.5v. Was anything changed in the bios?

im shocked lol, instant 6core and its gone 3.3ghz from 3.0ghz too and i havnt had to do a thing

i would still like to know why nothing atall shows cpu temps? if anyones got any ideas.
my mobo is a ASRock M3A770DE AMD 770

Because it gets messed up when you unlock the middle sensor CPUTIN should be your cpu temp. the 3.3ghz (3.4ghz) is just the cpu's turbo.

Your voltage is already at 1.5 you might want to back that down because with that cooler I would say at full load your going over 60 degrees.

just thought i would update a ss of it all running at idle so the stats are at idle now

does it still look like i need to back the voltage off? and what too?

Well the voltage is at 1.5 when loaded I would put it at 1.4 or 1.45 and see if its stable.
